ABBA The Museum
Stockholm, Sweden, Sweden
ABBA The Museum in Stockholm is an interactive exhibition dedicated to the Swedish pop group ABBA, opened in May 2013 on the island of Djurgården near Gröna Lund amusement park.
It houses a large collection of original stage costumes, instruments, gold records, awards, and other memorabilia from the band’s career, much of it drawn from the members’ own private archives. Visitors move through recreated spaces such as ABBA’s old recording studio, performance settings, and songwriting environments, while also engaging with hands‑on displays.
Video interviews, and interactive areas where they can sing, dance, and even record themselves as a “fifth member” of the group. The museum sits in a lively cultural area of Stockholm, close to Skansen, the Vasa Museum, and the city centre, making it a popular stop for both music fans and general tourists.
