Anguib Beach
Philippines , Philippines
Anguib Beach is a long, pristine stretch of beach located in Santa Ana, Cagayan Province in the northeastern part of the Philippines, famously nicknamed the "Boracay of the North" due to its striking similarity to the famous Boracay island.
The beach features powdery white sand, crystal-clear blue waters, and lush green foliage with mountain ranges, enclosed in a cove more than a kilometer in length with tall trees dotting the shoreline. It is among the most beautiful beaches in northeastern Philippines and remains a developing, less-crowded tourist attraction that hasn't been fully discovered by travelers yet.
The gentle, shallow waves make it ideal for swimming for visitors of all ages including children, while the surrounding waters are home to thriving marine life including fish, shells, and corals, making snorkeling and diving highly encouraged. Visitors can rent snorkeling gear, kayaks, and boats for island hopping on-site, and glamping tents are available for overnight stays.
There is a 100 peso entrance fee per adult, but no electricity or food stalls exist on the beach, so visitors must bring their own food and drinks. The beach is now accessible by land via a road connecting to Santa Ana town, though it was once reachable only by boat and was locally considered an island.
