Apulit Island is a small, privately owned island off the northeastern coast of Palawan in the Philippines, sitting in Taytay Bay and appearing roughly shaped like a dragon from above.

It is now home to an eco‑adventure resort run by the El Nido Resorts group, known for its low‑impact, nature‑focused style and a small number of over‑water and coastal cottages built on stilts along the shoreline.

The island features clear turquoise waters, coral‑rich reefs, and several notable caves such as the Lover’s Caves, Tabonito Cave, and the large St. Joseph’s Cave, all of which are popular for guided tours and wildlife viewing.

Apulit also offers activities like snorkeling, diving, kayaking, rock climbing, and rappelling, and is protected under a local marine sanctuary ordinance to help conserve its marine life and surrounding seascape.
