Balete Beach in the Philippines refers mainly to a quiet, unspoiled beach in the town of Pagbilao in Quezon Province, known for its golden-to-white sand, shallow and child-friendly waters, and scenic rock formations that make it one of the country’s beautiful pebble beaches.

It is a secluded, low-key spot with minimal commercialization, offering a serene atmosphere ideal for swimming, sunbathing, and beachcombing, but it has very few amenities: there are no lifeguards, no public restrooms, dogs are not allowed, and food and supplies tend to be pricey due to the remote location.

There is also a Balete (locally called Balite) Beach in Virac, Catanduanes, which is another tranquil beach with pristine sands and island tranquility, but the better-documented Balete Beach is the one in Pagbilao. The beach has no entrance fee and is best suited for travelers who want to escape crowded tourist areas and enjoy natural, peaceful coastal scenery.
