Béldi Castle in Jibou, Romania, was built in 1903 to celebrate the marriage of Kálmán Béldy and Pálma Wesselényi and was financed by the Béldy family.
It is situated in a beautiful oak forest about 2 to 3 kilometers from the center of Jibou. The castle is historically linked to the Wesselényi family, well-known in the area for horse breeding and owning one of Transylvania's largest studs in the 19th century. Over time, the castle became the property of the County Council and served as a mental asylum for a period.
It stands as a historic monument reflecting the architectural and noble heritage of the region. The surrounding park and the castle complex are significant for their cultural and historical value in the area.
