---

Boga Lake, located in the remote hills of Bandarban District in the Chattogram Division of Bangladesh, is one of the country’s most beautiful natural lakes.

Situated about 380 meters (1,246 feet) above sea level in Ruma Upazila, it is a deep freshwater lake surrounded by lush mountains and dense bamboo forests. The lake is known for its crystal-clear water, peaceful atmosphere, and stunning scenery. Geologists believe it was formed naturally by the collection of rainwater, while local legends tell of a dragon whose disappearance created the lake, adding an element of mystery to the area.

Encircled by green hills and inhabited by indigenous communities such as the Bawm people, Boga Lake is a popular destination for trekking, camping, and nature tourism. Its breathtaking landscapes, cool climate, and tranquil environment make it one of the most cherished attractions in the hill tracts of Bangladesh.
