Bom Jesus do Monte is a famous Catholic pilgrimage sanctuary located in the parish of Tenões, just outside the city of Braga in northern Portugal.

It stands on a wooded hillside overlooking Braga and is known for a monumental Baroque staircase that rises through ornate fountains, statues, and religious symbols following the path of the Stations of the Cross.

At the top sits a serene church with a neo‑classical façade and a museum run by the local confraternity, while the sanctuary as a whole combines spiritual devotion with striking garden landscaping and panoramic views over the city. Since 2019 the site has been inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, recognised both for its architecture and its role as a centuries‑old pilgrimage destination.
