Boo Slott
Sweden, Sweden
Boo Slott is a Neo-Gothic manor house located in Vingåker Municipality in Södermanland, Sweden, built between 1874 and 1882 by architect Johan Fredrik Åbom on the site of an older manor with Viking Age roots.
Commissioned by Hugo Johan Hamilton, tenant in tail of the Boo estate, the castle features a striking red-brick façade with towers, turrets, and ornate details typical of 19th-century romantic revival architecture, surrounded by expansive parks and economic buildings from earlier centuries.
Part of the historic Boo estate acquired by Nicodemus Tessin the Younger in 1700, it now serves as the centerpiece of Boo Egendom AB, blending cultural heritage preservation with modern estate management.
