Buntod Reef Marine Sanctuary and Sandbar is the main natural attraction of Masbate City in Masbate Province, Philippines, located about one kilometer off the coast of Masbate Island in municipal waters.

This protected marine sanctuary spans approximately 250 hectares total, including 118 hectares of marine sanctuary, nearly 2.2 hectares of coral reef, 28 hectares of seagrass beds, and mangrove areas, making it a diverse ecosystem that has recovered from being ravaged by dynamite fishing into a successful eco-tourism zone.

The sanctuary features a stunning white sandbar with fine sand and crystal-clear waters comparable to Boracay, along with beautiful mangroves, making it a popular day-trip destination for swimming, snorkeling, kayaking, and diving. As a protected marine sanctuary, fishing and related activities are strictly prohibited, with human access limited to tourism purposes only, providing an eco-friendly livelihood alternative to local fishermen who now work in tourism.

Visitors can reach the sanctuary via a 15-20 minute motorized boat ride from Rendezvous Beach Resort for a two-way rental fee of ₱500 for 1-4 persons or ₱800 for 5-14 persons, plus a minimal ₱20 registration fee per person. The site offers basic amenities including a main cottage for registration, snack and drink stores, private gazebos and tables for rent, and equipment rentals for snorkeling and diving, while visitors are welcome to bring their own food for lunch.
