Central Park Tashkent, also known as Tashkent Park named after Mirzo Ulugbek (formerly Telman Park), is one of the city’s oldest and largest green spaces, opened in 1934 on the site of a former summer residence.

Covering about 13 hectares in the Mirzo Ulugbek district, it serves as a popular leisure hub with wide tree‑lined alleys, a lake with ducks and swans, and countless benches for relaxed walks or people‑watching. The park is split into active and quieter zones, offering around 26 European‑style rides such as roller coasters, the Drop’N Tower, pirate‑ship Galleon, carousels, and bumper cars, as well as a large children’s playground.

It also features a “gastro street” with kiosks selling fast food, national dishes, and snacks, hosts free concerts, festivals, and shows, and stays open year‑round from morning to late evening, making it a favourite spot for families, couples, and locals looking for recreation and light entertainment in the heart of Tashkent.
