Clonea Beach (also called Clonea Strand) is one of the best and most popular beaches in County Waterford, Ireland, located about 5 kilometers (3 miles) outside the town of Dungarvan on the southeast coast.

It is a long, wide crescent of golden sand with clean water and sand, which has earned it Blue Flag status for safety and quality. The beach is perfect for swimming, walking, paddleboarding, and family outings, with shallow rock pools at one end for kids to explore and plenty of water sports available in summer.

Lifeguards are on duty during the summer—on weekends in June and daily from July through August, typically from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm—making it a safe spot for families. Facilities include public toilets (wheelchair accessible), a small shop selling refreshments and takeaway food, outdoor showers, and two parking areas (the main car park and Ballinclamper Beach car park at the southern end), though both can get very busy on warm days so arriving early is recommended.

The beach is easily accessible by car (about 10 minutes from Dungarvan), by cycling the Waterford Greenway which runs behind the beach, and there are lovely scenic walks along the coast and nearby cliffs.
