Corvin’s Castle in Hunedoara, Romania, is a dramatic Gothic-Renaissance fortress built in the mid-15th century by the Transylvanian military leader John Hunyadi, who transformed the site from an old keep into a grand residence featuring imposing towers, marble halls, and intricate stonework.

Designed both for defense and princely ceremonies, its large halls and distinctive architecture helped it become one of the largest and most impressive castles in Eastern Europe, with legends claiming Vlad the Impaler was once kept prisoner there.
