Dhigurah Island, located in the South Ari Atoll of the Maldives, is a long, narrow island nearly 4 kilometers in length and about 250-300 meters wide at its widest point. Its name means "Long Island" in the local Dhivehi language, reflecting its distinctive shape and featuring one of the longest beaches in the Maldives.

The island is a small fishing village with around 600 residents who engage in fishing, woodworking, and boat building, maintaining an authentic local charm. Dhigurah is renowned for its stunning white sandy beaches, crystal-clear waters, and lush natural jungle covering much of the island. It is surrounded by a large lagoon known for excellent snorkeling and diving, with over 30 dive sites nearby.
