Doboj Fortress is a medieval hilltop stronghold in Doboj, Bosnia and Herzegovina, built in the early 13th century on an even older defensive site. It played an important role in protecting the region and was repeatedly attacked, repaired, and expanded under different rulers, especially during the Ottoman period. Today it is one of the city’s best-known historical landmarks and a symbol of Doboj’s long and turbulent past.
