Ehemalige Burg Schwarzwasserstelz was a vanished moated castle on a small Rhine island near Fisibach in the canton of Aargau, Switzerland, built around 1170 as a Niederungsburg to control river trade routes.
Owned by the Freiherren von Wasserstelz from 1173 to 1330, it later passed to the Prince-Bishop of Constance in 1294 and families like Heggenzer and Tschudi until 1831, when it fell into disrepair, was sold to the Nordostbahn, and demolished in 1875.
No visible traces remain today, as the site was overbuilt in 1938 with Swiss Army bunker A4203 during Rhine damming for the Reckingen power plant, preserving only relocated artifacts like a 1776 portal now in Zurzach.
