Harristown House is a historic Georgian country house located near Brannockstown in County Kildare, on an estate overlooking the River Liffey.

The property is closely associated with the La Touche family, a prominent Huguenot family who became influential in Irish banking, politics, and philanthropy after settling in Ireland in the 18th century. The house was built in the late 18th century and became one of the notable country estates in the region.

After a major fire in 1891, it was rebuilt on a smaller scale by architect James Franklin Fuller, who also restored nearby estate buildings and the local church. Today, Harristown House remains a privately managed heritage property set within extensive grounds. It is known for its elegant architecture, rich family history, and use as a venue for events, filming, and language programmes, while continuing to preserve an important part of County Kildare’s cultural heritage.
