Kamianets-Podilskyi Castle in Ukraine is a medieval fortress from the 14th century built on a rocky peninsula surrounded by the deep canyon of the Smotrych River, initially protecting the bridge to the city's Old Town as a Ruthenian-Lithuanian stronghold.

Expanded into Old and New Castles by Polish kings like Casimir IV, Sigismund I, and Władysław IV with limestone walls, multiple towers such as Pope's Tower, White Tower, and Lanckorońska Tower, bastions, gates, and artillery supports, it endured sieges by Tatars, Turks, and Cossacks amid its role on Podilia's trade crossroads.

Renowned for multicultural architecture blending Gothic, Renaissance, and Baroque elements, including a Turkish Bridge and casemates, it now stands as one of Europe's best-preserved fortresses and a national landmark drawing visitors to its panoramic views.
