"Marine Park" in the Philippines most commonly refers to Tubbataha Reef National Marine Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site located in the Sulu Sea about 160 km southwest of Cagayancillo, established as a protected marine park on August 11, 1988, and added to the UNESCO World Heritage list in December 1993.

This 968 km² sanctuary is home to the world's most unique and beautiful coral reefs, including the Tubbataha atoll, and boasts incredible biodiversity with over 360 coral species (almost half of all coral species existing worldwide), 600 fish species, 13 species of whales and dolphins, 12 species of sharks, green sea turtles, nesting hawksbills, and over 100 bird species. The reef features a spectacular 100-meter perpendicular wall, extensive lagoons, and two coral islands supporting a diverse marine community.

The best time to visit is from March to June during the official diving season, when conditions are perfect with flat seas and excellent visibility. Visitors must arrange liveaboard trips with dive companies departing from Puerto Princesa City, taking about 10 hours to reach the park.
