Playa Punta Soldado Beach
Puerto Rico, Puerto Rico
Playa Punta Soldado Beach is a quiet, secluded cove on the southern tip of Culebra, Puerto Rico, reached by a rough dirt road and known for its mostly pebbly, partly sandy shore and very clear, usually calm turquoise water.
It is especially popular for snorkeling and beginner diving because healthy coral, turtles, and colorful fish are found just offshore, with the best spots along the left side of the beach, but there are no services or lifeguards, only a few shaded trees and simple parking, so visitors come prepared and enjoy the peaceful, uncrowded setting ideal for relaxing, swimming, and watching sunsets over nearby islands.
