Polillo Island is the largest island in the northeastern part of the Philippine archipelago and the main island of the Polillo Islands group. Located east of Luzon and separated by the Polillo Strait, it forms the northern side of Lamon Bay.
The island covers about 680 square kilometers and is divided into three municipalities: Polillo in the south, Burdeos in the northeast, and Panukulan in the northwest. It is home to diverse wildlife, including the rare Butaan lizard, related to the Komodo dragon.
