Qilu Battery

Qilu Battery is a late Qing dynasty coastal fort in Shantou, Guangdong, now preserved inside Shipaotai Park. It was built from 1874 to 1879 to help defend the harbor, and its circular layout with cannon positions shows its original military purpose. Today it is mainly visited as a historical site and public park, where people come to see the old fortifications and coastal views.
