Rathmacknee Castle is a remarkably well-preserved late 15th century tower house located near Piercestown in County Wexford, Ireland.

Built by the influential Rossiter family, who had been established in the region since the Norman invasion, it served as the family's principal stronghold for centuries. The castle consists of a five-storey tower enclosed within a fortified walled courtyard known as a bawn. Many original defensive features, including crenellations, machicolations, narrow stairways, fireplaces.

Lookout positions, have survived, making it one of the most complete medieval tower houses in south Leinster. Today, Rathmacknee Castle is a National Monument and an important example of Ireland’s medieval architecture.
