Roseau, Dominica

---

Roseau Market, located in the heart of Roseau, the capital of Dominica, is a lively marketplace where locals and visitors come together to buy fresh produce, spices, crafts, and other local products.

It is one of the best places to experience everyday Dominican life and discover the island’s culture, flavors, and traditions. The market area is closely linked to the historic Old Market of Roseau, which played an important role in the island’s colonial past as a major trading center. Today, it has been transformed into a vibrant shopping and cultural space featuring vendors, artisans, and craft stalls selling handmade souvenirs and local goods.

Filled with colorful displays, friendly vendors, and the aromas of tropical fruits and spices, Roseau Market offers an authentic glimpse into the daily life of Dominica. It remains one of the city’s most popular attractions for visitors seeking local food, unique crafts, and a genuine Caribbean market experience.
