The Salman Al-Farsi Mosque, located in Al-Mada'in (also known as Salman Pak) in Iraq’s Baghdad Governorate, is an important religious and historical site that contains the tomb of Salman al-Farsi, a revered companion of the Prophet Muhammad and one of the earliest Persian converts to Islam.

The mosque is a major pilgrimage destination and holds special significance for many Muslims because of Salman’s respected role in early Islamic history. The present mosque was established in 1950 over an older mausoleum that had existed for decades, and the complex also includes tombs associated with other notable early Islamic figures.
