Saturn is a quiet beach resort town on Romania’s Black Sea coast, located just 1 km north of Mangalia and about 43 km south of Constanța in the Dobruja region.

Built during the communist era and opened to tourists in 1971–1972, it was named after the Roman god Saturn and became a nationally important vacation destination, later attracting visitors from other Eastern Bloc countries. The resort is known for its lush greenery, peaceful atmosphere, and affordable prices compared to other Romanian seaside spots, making it popular for relaxed summer holidays.

Saturn features two main beaches—Adras Beach in the north (closer to the connected Venus resort) and Diana Beach in the south near Mangalia—with a smooth, 2-kilometer-long stretch of sandy shore between Saturn and Venus that is 200 meters wide. The area also offers therapeutic hypothermal sulphurous springs and healing mud used for treating gynecological and musculoskeletal conditions, along with outdoor terraces, restaurants, camping sites, and water sports like pedal boats and jet-skiing.
