Shahid Zia Shishu Park, also known as Dhaka Shishu Park, is a long‑standing children’s amusement park in the Shahbag area of Dhaka, Bangladesh, established in 1979 on about 15 acres of land near Ramna Park.

It was created under the government‑run Bangladesh Parjatan Corporation at the initiative of former President Ziaur Rahman, with the goal of offering an affordable and healthy recreational space for children in the capital city.

The park features a collection of relatively simple, low‑cost rides such as a wheel train, merry‑go‑rounds, and small wheel‑based attractions, and it has traditionally been the cheapest public entertainment park in Dhaka, charging only a small fee per ride. 

Over the years it has drawn large crowds, especially during festivals like Eid‑ul‑Fitr, and has been operated by Dhaka South City Corporation, though it has been closed for extensive renovation and modernization since the late 2010s, with plans to expand the area and add and upgrade the park’s rides once the work is complete.
