Shōryūji-jo Castle Park in Nagaokakyo, Japan, preserves the site of Shōryūji Castle built in 1339 by Hosokawa Yoriharu to defend Kyoto during the Nanboku-chō period. Rebuilt in 1571 by Fujitaka Hosokawa under Oda Nobunaga’s orders, the castle was a key military stronghold during the Sengoku era and associated with Hosokawa Tadaoki and his wife Gracia.

The castle faced abandonment in the 17th century, but the park opened in 1992 with reconstructed turrets and restored earthworks and moats. The site houses a historical museum displaying excavated artifacts and hosts the annual Nagaokakyo Gracia Festival featuring a historical parade, celebrating its rich cultural heritage.

The park offers visitors a glimpse into the castle's past and its strategic importance in Kyoto’s defense.
