Silinog, also known as Selinog, is a small island barangay in Dapitan City, Zamboanga del Norte, Philippines, located about 12–13 kilometers off the Tagolo Point entrance to Dapitan Bay in the Bohol Sea.

It is a flat coralline island of about 78 hectares, surrounded by roughly 70 hectares of coral reefs and white‑sand areas, with a small resident population that rely mainly on fishing and increasingly on salt‑making, basket‑weaving, and marine tourism.

The island has basic community facilities such as an elementary school, a barangay hall, and a health clinic, and its clear waters, white‑sand beaches, and rich underwater life have led local authorities to declare it a marine reserve and protected seascape.

Visitors usually reach Silinog by pump boat from Dapitan, and the island is valued as a quiet, low‑development dive and snorkeling spot, as well as a peaceful island escape with a simple, rural island‑life feel.
