Stubenberg Castle in Săcueni, Bihor County, Romania, originated in the 15th century under the Zólyomi family on the site of an earlier medieval fortification, becoming one of the region's largest estates granted by King Sigismund, with its western wing rebuilt in Baroque style around 1750-1760 by Count János Dietrichstein after Habsburg acquisition in 1728.

Acquired through marriage by the Stubenberg family in 1830, Count Gusztáv Stubenberg expanded it at the turn of the 20th century, adding a classicist portico entrance completed by 1906, alongside a deteriorated classicist barn from circa 1840, blending Baroque provincial elements with monumental details like ornate ironwork.

Land reforms post-Trianon reduced its 12,000-hold domain, followed by nationalization after WWII when the family fled; repurposed as a high school until 2008, mushroom farm, orphanage, and recreation base, it now stands in decay owned by the Romanian state, outside tourist circuits despite restoration discussions.
