Tajima Plateau Botanical Gardens, located in Kami, Hyogo Prefecture, Japan, is a sprawling 17-hectare botanical garden situated at 650 meters above sea level within the Hyōnosen-Ushiroyama-Nagisan Quasi-National Park.

The garden is famous for its extensive collection of over 2,000 native plant species, including various trees and flowers that bloom through the seasons, as well as about 300 related species. It features scenic paths winding through hills, ponds, wetlands, and natural forests, creating a peaceful environment that showcases the diverse plant life of the region.

The area is also home to historically and ecologically significant sites such as the "Sen-nen-sui" spring, which produces 5,000 tons of water daily, and the ancient "Wachi-no-ō-katsura" tree, over 1,000 years old.

Visitors can enjoy seasonal flowers, such as cherry blossoms in spring, azaleas and hydrangeas in summer, and colorful foliage in autumn. The garden offers educational experiences, seasonal events, and local cuisine, including Tajima beef, which can be enjoyed at on-site restaurants, often in unique settings like treehouses or snow huts in winter.

Entry fees are affordable, and the garden is open from April to late November, with hours typically from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. during the open season.
