The Sanctuary of Truth Museum in Pattaya, Chonburi Province, is one of Thailand’s most extraordinary cultural landmarks. Built entirely from wood and richly covered with intricate hand-carved sculptures, this massive temple-like structure combines elements of Thai, Hindu, Buddhist, Chinese, and Khmer art and philosophy. Created by Lek Viriyaphan, construction began in 1981 and continues today, making the site both a museum and a living showcase of traditional craftsmanship.
