Three Corner Cay is a small island in the Turneffe Atoll of Belize, located in the Belize District about 110 km east of the capital city, Belmopan, out in the Caribbean Sea. It lies on the outer edge of the atoll and is best known among divers as an advanced dive site where three reef walls meet around a triangular‑shaped cay, creating strong currents and dramatic drop‑offs rich with marine life. The spot attracts experienced divers who come to see large pelagics, sharks, and vibrant coral formations along the meeting‑point of the converging reef walls. Because of its exposed location and strong water movement, Three Corner Cay is not typically a place for casual swimming or beach activities but rather a respected, dynamic dive site within Belize’s barrier‑reef system.
