Tiss Beach Resort is a popular tourist beach and recreational resort located in the village of Tiss, about 5–10 kilometers from the city of Chabahar in Sistan and Baluchestan Province, Iran, on the coast of the Gulf of Oman. It is known for its gently sloping, shallow shoreline: the water remains under about 1.5 meters deep for hundreds of meters from the shore, making it very safe and easy for swimming, especially for families and children. The resort area offers a range of comfort and leisure facilities, including shaded gazebos (آلاچیق), showers, restrooms, food stalls, restaurants, and small supermarkets, as well as beach activities such as motorboat and rowing boats, jet-ski rides, shuttle boats, inflatable pools, and a water slide, which extend the basic beach experience into a small amusement-style beach resort. Outside of its commercial facilities, the beach is often described as one of the most beautiful, calm, and scenic spots near Chabahar, with golden sand, turquoise water, palm trees, cliffs, and views of sunrise and sunset, and the broader Tiss area is linked to a local historical tradition that suggests the site has ancient roots dating back around 2,500 years.
