Altsachsenheim is the ruin of a medieval hilltop castle near Sachsenheim in Baden-Württemberg.

Built in the 13th century, it served as the ancestral seat of the Lords of Sachsenheim, an influential noble family that gave the site its name. The castle is first mentioned in historical records in 1240 and played an important role in the local region during the Middle Ages. Over the centuries, the castle changed owners, passing to the Lords of Nippenburg around 1430 and later to the House of Württemberg in 1561.

It gradually lost its strategic importance and eventually fell into ruin, leaving only parts of its former structure standing today. Today, Altsachsenheim is a notable historic landmark overlooking the Enz Valley. The remaining walls and ruins offer visitors a glimpse into medieval castle life while providing attractive views of the surrounding countryside.
