Amlishagen Castle is a well-preserved medieval castle located above the Brettach Valley near Gerabronn in Baden-Württemberg, Germany.

Built in the 13th century and first mentioned in 1253, it is a rare example of a shield-wall castle, a type of fortress designed with a massive defensive wall protecting its most vulnerable side. Originally owned by the Lords of Amlishagen and later by the Lords of Wollmershausen, the castle was expanded several times during the Middle Ages and again around 1600, when a residential palace was added to the complex.

Archaeological studies have identified multiple construction phases that reveal its long and evolving history. Today, Amlishagen Castle remains privately owned and inhabited by descendants of a family that acquired it in the 19th century. Thanks to careful restoration and conservation work, it is regarded as one of the best-preserved historic castles in the Hohenlohe region and can be visited on selected days.
