The Ansbach Residence (Residenz Ansbach) is a magnificent palace in Ansbach, Bavaria, that served as the official residence of the Margraves of Brandenburg-Ansbach from the Hohenzollern dynasty.

Originally developed from a medieval fortress, it was transformed into a Renaissance palace in the 16th century and later remodeled in the Baroque and Rococo styles during the 18th century. The palace is renowned for its richly decorated state rooms, grand festival hall, mirror cabinet, art collections, and the historic Gothic Hall.

It is also surrounded by an elegant court garden with an orangery, reflecting the splendor of the former margravial court. Today, the Ansbach Residence is one of Franconia’s most important historic landmarks. Parts of the palace are open to visitors, while the building also serves as the administrative seat of the government of Middle Franconia.
