Bärenschlössle
Stuttgart, Germany, Germany
Bärenschlössle in Stuttgart, Germany, is a charming former pleasure palace built in 1768 by Duke Carl Eugen of Württemberg in neo-Romanesque style on the shores of the artificial Bärensee lake within the city's Rotwildpark.
Demolished in 1817 after falling into disrepair, it was rebuilt as a hunting pavilion and later served various uses until wartime destruction in 1943 and a 1994 fire led to its faithful reconstruction by 1997, now featuring French doors on the upper level.
Today it operates as a popular excursion restaurant offering regional dishes amid scenic park lakes perfect for family walks, cycling, and relaxation near Schloss Solitude.
