The Botanical Garden of the University of Wrocław (Ogród Botaniczny Uniwersytetu Wrocławskiego) is Poland's second oldest university botanical garden, founded in 1811 together with the University of Wrocław (then Breslau) by the Prussian state, and it is the only university garden in the so-called Recovered Territories.

Located at ul. Sienkiewicza 23 in Wrocław on the north side of the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist and Holy Cross Church, partly within the historic Ostrów Tumski (Cathedral Island), the oldest part of the city about 2 km from the Market Square, the garden was laid out on the site of a former fort at the foot of a monumental Gothic church, built on the former riverbed of the Odra River.

Covering about 7.5 hectares, the garden contains more than 11,500 taxa of plants from various continents, including approximately 7,500 species of plants such as mountain, rock, water, marsh, tropical, and subtropical plants, grown in open-air sections, greenhouses, and aquariums.

Among the trees, 27 have been recognized as nature monuments, including oaks, yews, ginkgo, beeches, and plane trees, and visitors can also admire a geological cross-section of the Wałbrzych hard coal deposits built in 1856 in the rock garden, separated by sandstone and slate deposits.
