The Brasília Botanical Garden, established in 1985 as part of the city's original urban planning, is located in a preservation area known as Jardim Botânico within Brasília, Brazil's capital.

It was the first botanical garden in Brazil focused primarily on the conservation and study of the native Cerrado ecosystem, which is a vast tropical savanna biome rich in biodiversity. The garden plays a key role in research, environmental education, and the preservation of native plant species, featuring ecological trails and diverse collections that reflect the unique flora of the Cerrado.
