Burg Altentierberg is the ruined remains of a small medieval Spornburg, or spur‑castle, located on the Tierberg (also called Oberer Berg) at about 864 meters above sea level above the Albstadt district of Lautlingen in the Zollernalbkreis of Baden‑Württemberg, Germany.

The fortress was built after about 1150 by the local noble family von Tierberg as their main seat, first mentioned in 1216, and later used to distinguish the original line from the branch that moved to the nearby Wildentierberg. The castle was already abandoned by the 15th century, fell into ruin by the time of the Thirty Years’ War.

Today survives mainly as scattered masonry fragments and the outline of its former defenses, including a deep, roughly 18‑meter‑high bogenförmige Halsgraben that separates the inner area from the rest of the spur. The site lies on private land and is more of a quiet, wooded historical landmark than a major reconstructed monument, often visited by informed hikers exploring the cluster of Tierberg‑related castles around Albstadt.
