Burg Hohenhundersingen is the striking ruin of a medieval rock castle perched on a steep 675-meter felssporn above the Great Lauter Valley near Hundersingen in Münsingen, Reutlingen district, Baden-Württemberg, Germany.
Built around 1100-1200 by the Lords of Hundersingen as part of a defensive chain along the valley, it features a compact core with a prominent buckelquader bergfried tower accessed via a high portal, deep rock-cut neck ditch, outer bailey remnants, and massive shield walls, destroyed by 1530 after passing to Württemberg control.
Freely accessible today via a 600-meter marked hiking trail from free village parking, it rewards visitors with panoramic Swabian Alb views and showcases Staufer-era engineering amid forested slopes.
