Burg Lohr, also known as the “Altes Schloss” (Old Castle), was a medieval hilltop castle located near the village of Lohr, now part of Crailsheim in Baden-Württemberg, Germany.

It was built by the noble Lords of Lohr, an influential Franconian family, and is first documented in 1221, although its origins may date back even earlier. After the Lohr family died out in the late 13th century, ownership passed through several regional powers, including the Counts of Oettingen and the House of Hohenlohe.

The castle was likely abandoned and destroyed by the early 14th century, and its stones were later reused in construction projects around Crailsheim. Today, the castle no longer stands, but traces of its former defenses remain, including earthworks, ditches, and the outline of the castle hill. The site is also associated with a local legend about a tragic love story, adding a layer of folklore to its historical significance.
