Burg Riedbach
Schrozberg, Germany, Germany
Burg Riedbach was a small medieval motte-and-bailey castle located in the village of Riedbach, now part of Schrozberg in Baden-Württemberg, Germany.
Built during the 13th century and first mentioned in 1344, it served as a residence for local noble families, including the Lords of Seinsheim and the Lords of Seldeneck. The castle was destroyed or abandoned during the 15th century and gradually disappeared over time.
Today, only earthworks remain, including traces of the former defensive walls and surrounding ditch. Although little can be seen above ground, the site is an important reminder of the medieval history of Riedbach.
