Burg Rundeck is a medieval castle ruin located on a wooded ridge above Erlingshofen, a district of Kinding in Bavaria, Germany.

The site was originally the ancestral seat of the Lords of Heideck, who were first mentioned in 1129, making it one of the oldest noble strongholds in the region. The original castle declined after the family moved elsewhere, and the site was rebuilt in 1381 under the name Stossenberg. Ownership later passed through several noble families before being acquired by the Prince-Bishopric of Eichstätt, which ultimately allowed the castle to fall into ruin.

The name “Rundeck” only appeared much later, around 1801. Today, visitors can explore the freely accessible ruins, which still feature sections of a substantial ring wall, remains of the gate tower, and a distinctive triple-ditch defensive system. The site is a popular historical and hiking destination, offering insight into the medieval history of the Altmühl Valley.
