Burgruine Gromberg is the remains of a medieval hilltop castle located in a forest northeast of Lauchheim in Baden-Württemberg.

Built between the 12th and 13th centuries, it served as the ancestral seat of the Lords of Gromberg, a noble family that held lands in the surrounding region and was associated with the Staufers and later the Counts of Oettingen. The castle occupied a strategic position overlooking an important trade route between the Rems Valley and the Ries area.

After changing ownership in the late 14th century, it was gradually abandoned and eventually fell into ruin. Today, only traces of the fortress remain, including sections of defensive ditches, small masonry remnants, and part of the keep’s foundation. Despite its ruined state, the site offers visitors a glimpse into the medieval history of the Lauchheim area and its former noble families.
