Burgruine Kappelberg, also known as Burg Beutelsbach, is a historic castle ruin located on a hill above the Beutelsbach district of Weinstadt in Baden-Württemberg, Germany.

It is considered the oldest known seat of the House of Württemberg and was likely built around the 10th or 11th century to oversee an important medieval trade route known as the Kaiserstraße. The castle was destroyed in 1312 and gradually fell into ruin. Most of its remaining structures disappeared over time, but archaeological work in 1968 uncovered and exposed parts of the original foundations and walls.

Today, visitors can see reconstructed sections of the ruins and learn about the site's importance in the early history of Württemberg. The ruin is surrounded by vineyards and offers impressive panoramic views across Weinstadt, the Rems Valley, and toward the Neckar region. Its scenic location, historical significance, and accessible walking routes make it a popular destination for hikers, history enthusiasts, and visitors exploring the Remstal area.
