Burgruine Lichteneck is the remains of a medieval hilltop castle in Ingelfingen, Baden-Württemberg, overlooking the Kocher Valley and surrounded by vineyards.

Built around 1250 by Kraft von Boxberg, it served as a noble stronghold and became an important landmark in the region. The castle was destroyed during medieval conflicts, possibly in the late 14th or early 15th century, and was never fully rebuilt. Although much of the structure has disappeared, significant sections of the outer walls and parts of the defensive ditch are still visible today.

Today, the ruin is a popular historical and scenic attraction. Its elevated position offers impressive views of the surrounding countryside, and ongoing preservation efforts help maintain this distinctive reminder of the region’s medieval past.
