Burgruine Neuhausen is the remains of a medieval castle located near Holzheim in the Neu-Ulm district of Bavaria, Germany.

The castle was likely built by the Counts of Kirchberg in the 13th century and was first mentioned in historical records around 1280. It occupied a strategic hilltop position overlooking the surrounding area. Over the centuries, the castle changed ownership several times. It was burned down during a conflict with citizens of Ulm in 1344 but was later rebuilt.

After a major fire in 1756, the castle gradually fell into disrepair, and much of the structure was dismantled after 1803. Today, only parts of the fortifications and a surviving round tower known as the “Römerturm” remain. The ruins are freely accessible and provide visitors with a glimpse into the region’s medieval past, as well as pleasant views of the surrounding Swabian countryside.
