Burgstall Oberntüchersfeld is the site of a former medieval hill castle that once stood on a striking rock pinnacle above the village of Tüchersfeld, now part of Pottenstein in Bavaria’s Franconian Switzerland region.

Built around 1240, it was one of two castles in the village and was strategically positioned to oversee an important trade route and river crossing through the Püttlach Valley. The castle came under the control of the Bishopric of Bamberg during the 13th century and later served as an administrative center.

Over time, it declined and eventually disappeared, leaving only archaeological traces on the prominent rock formation known today as the castle site. Today, Burgstall Oberntüchersfeld is an important historical landmark within the picturesque village of Tüchersfeld, famous for its dramatic rock towers and traditional houses.
