The Denver Botanic Gardens in Colorado is a public botanical garden established in 1951 and located primarily on a 24-acre site on York Street in Denver. It features diverse themed gardens, a conservatory, and a sunken amphitheater used for concerts.

The gardens highlight plants from cold temperate climates and especially showcase flora from the Rocky Mountain region and similar areas. Noteworthy features include the Boettcher Memorial Tropical Conservatory—the first in America built entirely of concrete and Plexiglas— and the world’s first Xeriscape Demonstration Garden, promoting drought-tolerant landscaping.

The site also includes a Japanese Garden named Shofu-en, designed by Koichi Kawana, and several outdoor exhibits blending horticulture, art, and education. In addition to the York Street gardens, the Denver Botanic Gardens comprises Chatfield Farms, a 700-acre site offering trails, native plant gardens, educational exhibits, and a historic farm.
